Padre vs GMGN vs Axiom: Which One Should You Use for What?
I have been rotating between these three for over a year now. Here is my honest take, not a sponsored tier list. Padre is your choice if you trade across multiple chains. It runs on Solana, Ethereum, Base, and BNB in one window. That alone saves me swapping tabs. The fee structure is where it gets interesting: 0.5% per swap with cashback scaling up to 35% if you use a referral link. For a $10,000 day that means $32.50 in fees instead of $50. No KYC, works as a PWA on mobile, and the limit/stop-loss orders actually land consistently. I use Padre for anything that needs a take-profit order across ETH or Base.
GMGN is the opposite end of the spectrum: narrow focus, but brutally good at that one thing. It tracks over 10,000 labeled wallets across Smart Money, KOL, sniper, and fresh-wallet categories. You open it and you see exactly what the top 0.1% of Solana traders bought in the last hour. No fluff. I check GMGN every morning before anything else. It tells me which tokens have real Smart Money accumulation before the volume spikes. The copy trading works, but I use it mainly for discovery. If you only care about wallet tracking and do not need fancy order types, this is your start page.
Axiom is the execution king for Solana. Fees run 0.85% per swap, which is higher than Padre on cashback, but the speed compensates. Their execution engine feels faster than anything else I have used on Solana. The referral system is 3-tier and actually pays out. I know someone making 2 SOL/month from referrals alone. The downside: KYC kicks in at 5 SOL withdrawals. If you care about privacy, that is a dealbreaker. If you do not, Axiom is a solid choice for pure Solana trading.
My setup: Padre for multi-chain execution, GMGN for discovery and alerts, Axiom for referral income. Each has a job. Use them together.
