How to Set Up Telegram Alerts for Smart Money Wallets

If you are still refreshing GMGN's explorer every five minutes waiting for your tracked wallets to move, you are doing it wrong. Smart money wallets do not announce their plays on your schedule. They execute when the setup is ready, and by the time you alt-tab to check, the candle is already up 40%. The fix is simple: route every buy and sell from your watchlist straight into Telegram so it hits your phone before the bots even price in the volume.

Step 1: Stack your watchlist with wallets that matter. Head to GMGN, hit the Smart Money tab, and start following wallets with a proven track record. Look for win rates above 60% and average hold times under 24 hours. Use the Wallet Radar tool to auto-discover addresses trading the top 5 trending tokens in real time. Click follow on every wallet that passes the sniff test. Your goal is a curated list of 20-50 wallets. Too few and you miss the signal, too many and you are drowning in noise.

Step 2: Export your follow list and connect Telegram. Go to your GMGN profile and find the export option for your wallet follow list. Copy the data, then open the official GMGN Telegram Alert Bot. Paste your imported follow list into the bot setup flow. The bot syncs your watchlist and begins forwarding on-chain transactions to your DM. If you want alerts in a group, invite the bot to a Telegram group and configure it with the group ID.

Step 3: Filter the noise. Out of the box you will get every micro-transaction including 0.01 SOL buys that mean nothing. Open the alert config and set a minimum transaction size of 1 SOL. That filters out dust traders. Then set a cooldown of 15 minutes per wallet so you do not get spammed if a wallet does 10 buys in a row. After that, you only get meaningful moves.
