Why I Switched from BonkBot to Padre (and Saved $340)

I used BonkBot for three months. It was my first trading terminal. The UI is chaotic, the fees are unclear, but it works. Then I ran the numbers and realized I was getting rekt without knowing it.

BonkBot charges 1% per trade. No cashback. No referral system. Just 1% straight to their wallet. If you trade 10 times a day on $500 positions, that is $50 in fees. Per day. $1,500 per month.

Padre charges 1% too. But they give 35% back. So effective fee is 0.65%. On the same volume: $32.50 per day, $975 per month. That is $525 saved per month. Over three months I would have saved over $1,500.

I switched in April. My first week on Padre cost me $46 in fees, I got $16.10 back. That felt better than any BonkBot trade. Plus Padre supports ETH, BNB, and Base — BonkBot is Solana only. I do not have to bridge anymore.

The only thing I miss is BonkBot's Telegram integration was smoother. Padre has a bot but it feels like an MVP. They will probably improve it. Until then, I use GMGN for alerts and Padre for execution.

Bottom line: if you trade more than $1,000/month, the difference adds up fast. Try Padre with 35% cashback and do the math yourself.
