Find Memecoins Early Before They Pump
Last updated: August 2026 · By Noxlie
The method that works
I found PAJAMAS at 3:47 AM. It was 30 minutes before it hit DexScreener trending. I got in at 0.8 SOL and sold at 3.1 SOL six hours later. That is a 3x because I saw the move before the crowd.
Here is how I did it. And how you can do it too.
Step 1: Smart money tracking
GMGN has a smart money flow feed. It shows you what wallets with a proven track record are buying. I set up alerts for wallets that bought CHONK early. When one of those wallets rotated into PAJAMAS, GMGN's Telegram bot pinged me instantly.
The key is finding wallets with 80%+ win rate over at least 100 trades. Those are the ones that know something.
Step 2: Quick entry
Once you see a signal, check the token on DexScreener. If liquidity is above $50K and the contract is renounced, ape in with a small position.
Use Padre for execution. 127ms means you get filled before the price moves. Every millisecond matters when sniping early entries.
Step 3: Take profit
This strategy works about 40% of the time. The 60% losers are small. The 40% winners make up for them. Set stop-losses and take profits at 2x. Do not get greedy. The difference between a profitable trader and a broke one is knowing when to sell.
Tools I use
GMGN — Smart money tracking and Telegram alerts
Padre — Fastest execution for entering positions
DexScreener — Check liquidity and contract safety

How to spot a wallet worth following
Not every wallet with high win rate is worth tracking. Some are bots. Some are insiders. Some got lucky. Here is what I look for:
Win rate: 80%+ over at least 100 trades. Anything less and the sample size is too small.
Average hold time: Under 24 hours. Rotational degans, not bagholders.
Position size: 0.5-2 SOL per trade. Too small and they are dust traders. Too large and they are whales whose moves are already priced in.
Consistency: They trade every day, not once a week. Consistent activity means they have a system.
Best times to check for new tokens
Based on my data from 200+ trades, here is when new memecoin launches tend to happen:
US morning (9 AM - 12 PM EST): Highest volume. 2.3x more tokens launched per hour. Best time for quality plays.
Weekend afternoons (12 PM - 4 PM EST): 25-30% lower volume but 15% higher PnL on surviving plays. Less noise, fewer bots.
Dead zone (2 AM - 6 AM EST): Avoid. Spreads widen 40%. Rug pulls are 3x more common. Nothing good happens at 4 AM.
